How ATLAS ranks dividend stocks in Greece

Yield is the dividends paid over the last twelve months divided by today's price, taken from stored company data. We keep companies with a market value above USD 300 million and enough trading volume, a yield between 1% and 15% (above that the market is usually pricing in a cut), a positive profit margin and a positive P/E.

The payout check is simple: yield multiplied by P/E approximates the share of earnings paid out. Anything above 100% is dropped, because a dividend that exceeds what the company earns is hard to keep. What is left is sorted by yield.

Limits: a high yield can also mean a falling price. Yields are trailing figures, not promises, and companies can cut or skip dividends. Withholding tax, currency effects and your own tax situation are not included. The probability of a higher close comes from ATLAS's calibrated one-month model, which gives most stocks a figure close to 50%, so do not read it as a forecast. Frequently asked questions

What are the best dividend stocks in Greece?

Of 20 companies that pass ATLAS dividend filters in Greece, the highest yields in October 2026 belong to Autohellas, Aegean Airlines, and Quest. The top of the table yields 8.14% and the 25 listed go down to 1.06%. A higher yield is not automatically better: check the payout and whether the price is above fair value.

How does ATLAS pick dividend stocks?

It starts from every published company in Greece (51), keeps those with a yield between 1% and 15%, positive earnings and a payout under 100%, and ranks them by yield. Fair value and probability are shown for context and do not change the order.

Is a high dividend yield safe?

Not necessarily. Yield rises when the price falls, so a very high figure can signal that investors expect a cut. That is why ATLAS caps the yield at 15% and drops payouts above 100% of profit. Even so, dividends are never guaranteed.

What is the typical dividend yield in Greece?

Among the 20 companies that pass the filters the median yield is 3.15%, with a median P/E of 11.3. 6 of them are in Financial Services, the most represented sector.

How often is this list updated?

Prices, ratios and fair values come from ATLAS's stored data, refreshed every day, and this page is rebuilt at least every 6 hours. The month in the title follows the date of the data.
