Books are not the problem. Finishing them is.
We wanted the great books to be as easy to pick up as everything else on your phone.
Most people mean to read the classics. The books are old and the ideas are good, but a 400-page text on a small screen asks a lot of you, and a summary is not the book.
ATLAS Reading keeps the book whole and changes the way it arrives. The text is cut into short cards you can swipe through in a spare few minutes, with a line worth keeping and a quick question here and there. When you want to go faster, Read mode shows one word at a time at the speed you choose. Either way you are reading the real book, in order, and the app remembers where you stopped.
Where the books come from
The catalogue is public-domain works from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks and similar open sources. We never link to shadow libraries and we do not host books that are still under copyright. If you own a file and want to read it here, you can upload it for your own private use.
How we use AI
AI is for helping you understand, never for rewriting the book. It explains a passage when you ask, recaps a chapter, adds a note about the author and explains hard words. They are included in the one plan.
