Terms of use.
Last updated 2 November 2026. Plain words, on purpose.
1. The service
ATLAS Reading lets you read books online, as a feed of short cards or in Read mode, and keep notes and progress. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. Your account
You sign in with an email address you control. Keep access to that mailbox safe: anyone who can read the sign-in code can open your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, and you are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Personal reading only
The service is for your own personal, non-commercial reading. Do not copy, resell, scrape or redistribute the catalogue, the cards, the AI output or the site, and do not use automated tools to download books in bulk.
4. The catalogue
The shared catalogue is made of works in the public domain, taken from sources such as Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks. Copyright law differs between countries, so a work that is in the public domain in the United States may not be in yours. You are responsible for reading only what you are allowed to read where you live.
5. Uploads are your responsibility
You can upload your own files. You may upload only files you own or have the legal right to use for your personal reading. Uploaded books are private to your account, are never added to the catalogue and are not shown to other users. You are solely responsible for what you upload. We may remove an upload or close an account that breaks these terms or the law.
6. Plans and payment
Access to ATLAS Reading is a paid subscription, offered at $2.99 a month or $19 a year. It renews at the price you chose until you cancel. The books in the catalogue are in the public domain; the subscription pays for the app. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. You can export your data and delete your account at any time from the account page.
7. AI features
AI answers are generated by a model and can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as a reading aid, not as a source of fact, and check anything that matters against the book. Fair-use limits apply to AI features so that the service stays fast and affordable for everyone.
8. Copyright and takedown (DMCA)
We respect copyright. If you believe material on ATLAS Reading infringes your copyright, email info@atlas-stocks.com with: the work you say is infringed; the page address where the material appears; your name, address and email; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, the law or its agent; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We act promptly on valid notices, which can include removing the book from the catalogue and from the sitemap and closing repeat infringers' accounts.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running but provide it as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you did not export. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: info@atlas-stocks.com.
