Questions, answered.

A place to read complete classic books on your phone. You get the whole book, with its preface, introduction and every chapter, either as a vertical feed of short cards with quizzes, or in a focused Read mode that shows one word at a time at the speed you choose.

No. It is $2.99 a month or $19 a year. Cancel anytime. The books themselves are public domain; the subscription pays for the app, with the whole catalogue, the feed, Read mode, notes, goals and the AI features included.

The whole book. The feed breaks the real text into short cards so you can read in small sittings, and Read mode runs through the same text. Nothing is condensed or rewritten.

The catalogue is made of public-domain works from sources such as Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks. The books are public domain, but access to the app is a paid subscription. We do not link to or use shadow libraries, and we do not host books that are still under copyright.

Explain any passage, chapter recaps, a short note about the author, a glossary of hard words, a feed that adapts to what you find hard, and uploads of your own books for personal use. All of it is part of the one plan.

Yes. Upload EPUB, PDF or text files you already own or have the right to read. They stay private to your account and are never added to the catalogue or shown to anyone else.

One word appears at a time on the same spot, with its key letter in blue, so your eyes stay still. You choose the speed, and long words, commas and full stops get a little extra time. Day, Sepia and Night themes keep it comfortable at any hour.

It is built for the phone first and works in any modern browser on a laptop too. There is nothing to install.

Enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code. There is no password. A new address creates your account.

You can cancel anytime. You can also export your data and delete your account from the account page whenever you like.
